These are just a few of the tricks that can be used to quickly make delicious, healthy meals within a budget. I spent hours, if not days in the kitchen, preparing the perfect meal. This was before I had children. Below are a few recipes I have in my stock. I can rely on delivery or take-out for healthy food, but I also keep a few ingredients on hand. These recipes are easy to make ahead and freeze. These are family favorites and can be used in dinner meal prep companies.

Red Sauce. I keep a can full of tomatoes on hand and often have vegetables in my kitchen (carrots squashes onions garlic etc). This is how you can make a delicious sauce. Make a large batch of sauce and freeze it in smaller containers.

White Sauce. Use butter, a small amount of flour, and a few cups of milk to make white sauce. This sauce can be used to top pasta, pizza sauces, or lasagna sauces. This is a simple recipe that you can make whenever you're in need. On low heat, melt 4 tablespoons butter in large saucepan. Add 3 tablespoons flour to the pan and whisk for 3 to 4-minutes. Slowly stir in 1 1/2 cups milk. Continue stirring until the mixture is thickened for approximately 5 minutes. Adapted by 'The New Basics Cook Book.

Pizza. Make a large batch with flour, water and yeast. You can either freeze the dough in small balls or roll them out to freeze. Bake them, cool them and then freeze. Make large pizzas for meals, mini pizzas for snacks. It's easy to mix it with a mixer. Mix 1 cup warm liquid with 1/4 oz active dry yeast. Slowly add 1 1/2 cups flowers. 2 tablespoons olive-oil and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Continue to add 1 to 1/2 cups flour. The dough should be smooth. For 5 minutes, knead the dough. Then, cover it with an oil bowl and a kitchen towel. Allow to rise for about an hour. Roll out the dough on a floured work surface. Then, shape it into a rectangle/circle. Add your favorite toppings to the dough and bake at 400F for 20-30 minutes. The temperature will vary depending on where you live. Adapted by 'The New Basics Cook Book.
